What is Jefferson Street Park?

Jefferson Street Park is the "parent" park to Polly's Dog Park. The park property will be divided in two — the southern half will be dedicated to the dog park and the northern half will be developed into a nature preserve. Both sections will be free and open to the public.

How are Jefferson Street Park and Polly's Dog Park funded?

We are funded by donations from various organizations and private individuals. We also fund raise through various events open to the public — such as fundraising concerts a the Brown County Playhouse.

All donations are welcome and appreciated.

Are you tax exempt?

Yes! Jefferson Street Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Polly's Dog Park is a part of Jefferson Street Park and donations to the dog park are also tax deductible.

How much money has been raised? How much do you need?

Our fundraising goal for 2019 is $29,000.

Estimated property purchase and construction costs will be around $145,000. To date $116,000 has been raised. Of this amount $90,000 has been paid toward the purchase of the property on contract — however the balance of $25,000 will be due on December 31, 2019!
